June 2007 update
Olly Freeman's achievements in May 2007 include 5th position at the BG World Cup Series in Lisbon and 4th at Richard's Bay in the South African leg of the race, moving him up to number 1 triathlete in Great Britain, number 22 in the World and number 10 in World Cup rankings.
These wins have given Olly substantial Olympic qualifying points for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Olly is no longer competing at Junior Level as he has made his mark in World Cup races.
Olly is former U20 European Junior Triathlon Champion and World Junior Duathlon champion and Michelob Ultra London Triathlon junior champion. He took gold at Blenheim and third place on the podium at the London Triathlon last year.

Olly comes third at the 2006 Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon
Herbalife sponsored Olly Freeman took the podium in third place in an unbelievable race in which he beat both former Athens Olympic gold and silver medalists. He has only just stepped up to the elite men's race distance, but still placed just 31 seconds behind the winner and less than one second behind second place. Olly completed the race in an incredible time of 01:46:06.
His sister Henny took fourth place in the women's elite making 'Team Freeman' the most talked about competitors at the event.

Olly wins Silver at U23 and Youth Triathlon European Championships
In Olly Freeman's first year of being eligible to compete at the under-23 level, he came second in Croatia at the U23 Youth Triathlon European Championships.
This is a remarkable achievement and evidences his transition into the full professional arena.
2006 Blenheim Triathlon
Despite, the horrendous weather, Olly Freeman achieved his first win as a men's senior at the 2006 Blenheim Triathlon! He achieved this victory in a tough elite field beating, amongst others, Stuart Hayes, last years mens' elite London Triathlon winner, and Richard Stannard, currently the third member of the British Olympic Triathlon team. As Olly has only just stepped up from Junior to Elite competition, this is an amazing victory on his road to qualifying for the 2008 Olympics!
Olly triumphed in a time of 1:02:22.

For the second year running, Olly Freeman has been recognised for his achievements and hard work in 2005 by being voted 'Best Young Athlete 2005' by the leading industry magazine 220 Triathlon.
The award was voted for by the readership of 220 and its website 200magazine.com.
Olly is the current under-20 European and London Junior Triathlon Champion and World Junior Duathlon Champion.
