The Mazda LONDON Triathlon 2008
This year sees the return of the world’s largest triathlon with over 13,000 entrants expected for the Mazda London Triathlon.
Herbalife continues to support this great event as Official Nutritional Partner for 2008. This successful partnership continues from 2007 and we are expecting a really awesome event this year. With hundreds of Distributors, staff and friends taking part in team Herbalife, we are all getting really excited about the UK’s flagship triathlon.
With a raft of activity taking place over the Saturday and Sunday in the Mazda London Triathlon Expo, Herbalife will be offering nutritional tips and advice from Kunle Odetoyinbo. Advice and expertise will be on hand for all participants and spectators.

TEAM HERBALIFE UPDATE
This year, the 2008 Mazda London Triathlon will be the ultimate test for Team Herbalife. Some will be competing to improve their personal time, some will be Triathlon first timers and others will be upping the ante and competing in the individual category after previously taking part in the team event.
Once again Team Herbalife will be pro-active in raising money for the UK Casa Herbalife programme, the Hackney Young Carers Healthy Eating Programme, based in East London. For more information on this project – and details on how you can donate and set up your own fundraising page - click here.
But Team Herbalife isn’t just about competing; it’s also about supporting our fellow Distributors who are participating. So if you’re not swimming, cycling or running at the Triathlons make sure you are a-whooping and a-hollering Team Herbalife past the finishing post!

The Michelob ULTRA™* London Triathlon 2007
Being the official nutrition sponsor for the world’s largest triathlon is an honour in itself, but having so many Distributors and employees actually compete at the Michelob ULTRA™ London Triathlon is also extremely praiseworthy.
Last year’s event took place over the weekend of 4th-5th August at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, Royal Victoria Dock, and thousands of people attended to compete or show their support – a large majority of which were Team Herbalife competitors and supporters.
As well as the tough races for individuals, team relay events allowed a team of three people to enter, each tackling the swim, cycle or run. Hot temperatures created an extra challenge for competitors who sweated it out in heat of up to 30°!
Herbalife also had a fantastic stand inside the event’s expo. Visitors to the stand were able to sample Formula 1 shakes, Protein Bars and Roasted Soybeans and were given a giveaway bag containing a Product Brochure, nutritional leaflet and a Liftoff™ tablet.
A team of UK Distributors represented Herbalife on the stand, and offered informal advice on nutrition and its role in leading a healthy and active lifestyle to competitors and visitors alike.
Both days of the event saw a great turn out which reinforces the fact that triathlon is the fastest-growing multi-discipline sport in the UK.
Unfortunately, our top sponsored triathlete, Olly Freeman, was injured and unable to compete this year, but he was able to provide commentary on the course for BBC TV.
Over 200 UK Distributors took part and many more, including Distributors from abroad, attended to support Herbalife – making the event a great success!

The Michelob ULTRA™ London Triathlon 2006
The 2006 triathlon was a huge success for Herbalife with some fantastic results achieved by Team Herbalife and some great feedback from competitors and visitors to our stand alike!
Sampling our delicious Formula 1 Meal Replacement for Weight-Management and Healthy Nutrition, as well as Protein Bars, Roasted Soybeans and Liftoff® on the day, our stand was constantly busy with an influx of people wanting a piece of the action.
Offering informal advice on how to lead a healthy and active lifestyle through our Independent Distributors, many visitors sought us out to receive some personal attention!
Another attraction was our 'Herbalife Challenge, powered by Liftoff®' stationary bike challenge, on which you race along a virtual course.
TEAM HERBALIFE
Herbalife was the second largest corporate entry at the Michelob ULTRA London Triathlon 2006. Represented by 250 Team Herbalife participants made up of Independent Herbalife Distributors, customers, Herbalife corporate staff, friends and family, the Herbalife name is fast becoming a common brand associated with Triathlon.
Team Herbalife was also very active in raising money for Casa Herbalife.
